How it works

Three steps, start to finish.

  1. Add the scheduleUpload a PDF, a photo or screenshot, or an ICS file, or paste the text. You can also connect Google Calendar and choose which of its events the household should see.
  2. Review the proposed eventsEach date is a proposal that shows where it came from. Fix a time, skip a staff-only meeting, and leave a date with no time as all day.
  3. Save what the household needsApproved events land on the shared calendar. Import the same file again and it lands on the same events, not a second copy.

One limit. Importing a document is a one-time read. If the school publishes a new version, add the new file and review the changes yourself.

What it does.

  • PDF, photo, ICS, or text. PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, .ics files, and pasted text, up to 10 MB each.
  • Google Calendar, event by event. Connect it and choose the events to share with the household. Approved imports can be sent to Google as well.
  • Nothing is added until you approve it. Every proposal shows its source. You decide what becomes an event.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which files can I use?

PDFs, photos and screenshots (JPEG, PNG, WebP), .ics calendar files, and pasted text, up to 10 MB each. Events from a connected Google Calendar are chosen one by one.

What if a time is missing?

The proposal shows the date as all day. Add the time if you know it, or leave it and check the source later. DrawerPilot does not invent a time.

Will it create duplicate events?

Importing the same schedule again lands on the same events instead of adding a second set. You still review the list before anything is saved.

Does a changed PDF update the calendar later?

No. Add the new version and review what changed. Nothing subscribes to the document.
