Chore chart
A chore chart with names, repeats, and places.
Give recurring work a name, a person, a repeat, and the spot it involves. Tasks can belong to anyone in the household, including people who never sign in.
Free to start. Add one task with a name on it.
This week
People down, days across. Tap a cell to mark it.
Example
A dated task, an anytime task, and one that takes turns.
The Halloween tote goes back on Nov 1, the manuals get sorted whenever, and the bins rotate every Thursday. The notification rows are the ones Settings has, and they are part of Pro.

How it works
Three steps, start to finish.
- 1Name the task and who does itPick an adult, a child without an account, or leave it for anyone. Add a Where, such as the garage shelf, when the task involves a spot.
- 2Choose whenAnytime, a due date, or a repeat: daily, weekly, or monthly, with options like every second week or the first Monday. A repeat can stay with one person, take turns, or split the week.
- 3Tick it off from any phoneCompleted tasks are recorded for the day they were done. Everyone in the household sees the same list.
One limit. Taking turns follows the order you set, not who did the most last week. Change the order yourself when plans change.
What it does.
- Daily, weekly, or monthly repeats. Daily, weekly, or monthly, every second or third time, on the weekdays you pick, or on the first or last day of the month.
- People without accounts. Add names for the chore chart. They can be assigned tasks without ever signing in.
- A Where on the task. Point a task at the area or spot it involves, so the person knows where the thing lives.
Notifications
Push or email for tasks.
Notifications are part of Pro. In Settings, tick Push or Email for each one: a task assigned to you, a task of yours completed, a reminder before a due date, a nudge about open tasks, and a daily or weekly overview. Push works in a browser that allows notifications on Android and desktop; email works everywhere.
- Push or email, per notification. Each row in Settings has a Push box and an Email box. Email goes to the address you sign in with.
- People without accounts. Choose an account holder who gets their notifications. Their chores show in that person’s overviews.
- Reminders and overviews. A reminder a day before a task is due, or on the day, 2 or 7 days before; a nudge about tasks without dates; and a daily or weekly overview at the hour you pick.
FAQ
Common questions.
Can tasks repeat?
Yes. Daily, weekly, or monthly, every second or third time if you like, on the weekdays you pick, on a date, or on the first or last day of the month. Set a start and an end when it should stop.
Can a task rotate between people?
Yes. A repeating task can stay with the same person, take turns down the list you choose, or split the week between people.
Can I assign a child without an account?
Yes. Add their name under People. They appear on the chart and can be assigned tasks, and they never get a login.
What if a task has no due date?
Choose Anytime. It stays on the list without a date. If you turn on the reminder for tasks without due dates, a push or email at the time you pick lists what is still open, every day, on weekdays, or at weekends.
Will I get a reminder before something is due?
Yes, once you turn it on in Settings. The default is a push or email a day before at 9:00 AM. On the due date, 2 days or a week before are the other options, and any task can set its own timing or none. Notifications are part of Pro.
