DrawerPilot (“DrawerPilot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a home organization application that helps users identify, organize, and locate items stored in their homes (the “App”), as well as the website through which the App and related information are made available (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information when you use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, username, password or other account credentials, and other information used to create or manage your account.
• Item and organization information, such as descriptions or labels for items, storage locations, rooms, containers, and other information you enter into the App to organize or locate items.
• Photos, Video, and Scans, including photographs, video, scans, or other images you submit through the App to identify, categorize, organize, or locate items.
• Communications, including information you provide when you contact us for support, provide feedback, or otherwise communicate with us.

The App is not designed or intended to collect sensitive personal information through photographs, video, or scans. However, content you submit may incidentally contain personal information or sensitive information. For example, an image may inadvertently capture a person's name, address, photograph, financial information, medical information, or other information visible in the surrounding area.

You should avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information that is not necessary to use the App, such as financial account information, passwords or access codes, identification documents, or medical information.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information regarding your device and use of the Services. This may include:

• account or user identifiers;
• IP address and approximate location derived from your IP address;
• device and browser information;
• device or other identifiers;
• information about your interactions with the Services, including pages, screens, and features accessed;
• session information; and
• diagnostic, performance, and error information.

2. How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and support the Services;
• create and administer user accounts;
• identify, categorize, organize, and locate items through the App, including through the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and similar technologies;
• process photographs, video, scans, and other information using artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and similar technologies;
• provide results and other functionality requested by users;
• understand how users interact with the Services;
• evaluate, test, troubleshoot, and improve the Services and their features;
• detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity;
• communicate with users regarding the Services, including responding to support requests and providing administrative or service-related communications;
• enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights and the rights of others; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

Artificial Intelligence

We do not use, and we do not permit our service providers to use, photographs, video, scans, or other user-submitted content to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.

3. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers. We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that perform services for us, including providers of hosting, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence processing, analytics, security, and technical support.

Legal and Safety Purposes. We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; enforce our agreements; protect the security or integrity of the Services; or protect the rights, property, or safety of DrawerPilot, our users, or others.

Business Transactions. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction.

With Your Direction or Consent. We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent to the disclosure.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we may delete or de-identify it. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, except to the extent retention is reasonably necessary for the foregoing purposes.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal information.

6. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 in circumstances in which parental consent was required, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
