How it works

Three steps, start to finish.

  1. Create each householdEvery household starts with its own calendar, shopping list, tasks, and spots. Nothing carries over unless you add it there.
  2. Invite the right people to each oneInvitations are per household and go to an email address. Someone invited to the cabin sees the cabin, not your home. Invitations are part of Pro.
  3. Switch when you arriveOpen My households and pick the one you are in. Search, tasks, and the shopping list follow the household you chose.

One limit. Pro belongs to a household. One household’s plan does not cover another, and each household has its own trial.

What it does.

  • Separate records. Same-named items in two homes stay two records. Beach towels at the cabin do not turn up in a search at home.
  • Membership per household. People are invited to one household at a time and see only the households they belong to.
  • Switching does not merge. Switching homes changes what you see. It never merges the two.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does one plan cover every household?

No. Pro belongs to a household. Each household you want to invite people into needs its own Pro plan, and each one has its own 14-day trial.

Can members see every household?

Only the households they were invited to. Membership does not carry across.

Are same-named items merged?

No. A record belongs to one household. Two beach towel records in two homes stay separate, each with its own spot.

Can I switch households on my phone?

Yes. Open My households on any device and choose the household you are in.
